For the back to school 2016 season the tree stripes brand proposes a new version of the adidas Originals Varial, a mid top sneaker with classic looks. This is a low profile style from adidas that we haven’t seen much lately, with the previous versions being mainly marketed to skaters. The Varial sneaker was once a basketball shoe that transcended over the years into a lifestyle sneaker, just like many other adidas products.
The 2016 adidas Original Varial sneaker was adapted to appeal to a broader audience, not only skaters. The traditional velcro strap that we’ve seen before going over the tongue to add more stability was removed, giving it a cleaner look. The upper is made of genuine leather in the front, with synthetic leather in the heel area and overlays. The heavy padded collar and tongue ensures comfort while keeping the ankle in place. The sole is made of a cushion footbed with traditional EVA material, while the outsold is made of solid rubber.
Overall the adidas Originals Varial sneaker is a solid, durable shoe that is made to last. Available in black and white and a red and black version, they retail at a quite affordable price for such quality at the vendors shown below.
